B: Feast of the Holy Family (31 Dec 2023)

We are one family because we have one God and Creator. Even though we are not genealogically related to each other by consanguinity nor affinity, the fact remains that we belong to the one big family called “human race”. Why, then, do we find it hard to treat our neighbors as our “brothers and sisters”? We even affix “in Christ” to the phrase to qualify our unique fraternity/sorority, despite knowing that we are brethren not only in Christ but by our very existence as human beings in this world. - Rex, CM

First Reading: Gen 15:1-6; 21:1-3 (27 Dec 2020)

Gospel: Lk 2:22-40 (31 Dec 2017)
